wow, it's been a long time since i last blogged!
well, last weekend the wonderful girls in my dorm threw (sp.) me a surprise bridal shower. I HAD NO IDEA! it was so awesome. they had a cake, brownies, a TON of ice cream, balloons, streamers...the whole sha-bang!
unfortunately, none of them brought a camera, so i don't have pics. (and it's not my fault this time because it was a surprise, and let's just face it, i don't carry my camera around all the time - or ever.) :D
so yes, they were awesome and amazing, and they made me a HUGE card. they are all just so cute and i love them tons! :D
3 and a half weeks of school left! 22 days to be exact! SOOOO CLOSE! i have a couple papers to write, then it's pretty much downhill from there. can't wait to come home and, i don't know, GET MARRIED! :D tomorrow we will be able to say that we are getting married next month! yay! love it!

MY BRIDAL SHOWER!
hey all,
so i had my bridal shower last saturday! it was SOOOO MUCH FUN!
Chris's mom put it on for me, and it was AMAZING. the decorations
were beautiful, the food was yummy, and the games were fun!
it was so surreal: sitting there knowing that everyone was not only
there for ME, but they were there for MY BRIDAL SHOWER!
I"M GETTING MARRIED! hahaha! i spent the rest of my spring break
cramming in as much wedding stuff as i possibly could. we got a lot
done, but there is still lots to do. i can't believe it's only two
and a half months away! :D

haven't gotten them all yet from other people. when i get them i will

Trip to INDY
hey all,
Chris and i went to Indianapolis with our friends, dustin and hilary.
we went to dinner, then chris and i registered at bed bath and beyond.
afterwards, we went downtown to get some starbucks and hang out. we had
so much fun just getting off campus and what not. here are some pics from
the trip.
*side note* chris and i are getting married 3 months from TODAY!:D
time is flying by. wedding plans are going good, but there's still
a lot more to do! mom and i definately have our work cut out for us
when i go home for spring break.

lazer gun, Target, and 4 hours?
what happens when you combine a lazer gun (scanner), Target, and 4 hours?
a LONG day of REGISTERING! :D yes, chris and i spent 4 hours registering at Target on saturday.
it was fun, but by the end we were so done walking around the store, looking at house decor, kitchen gadgets, and bedding! it's just nice to have that done. but we still had a fun time.
we took our camera and even carried it around with us all day, yet failed to take ANY pictures. we really need to step it up in that department! :D
on saturday it will be 3 months to go until the wedding! time is FLYING! i'm so excited because my bridal shower is in 10 DAYS! :D i am so ready for spring break. however, i don't think it's going to be much of a break since we have SO much wedding stuff to do!

100 MORE DAYS!
100 more days until Chris and i get married! i cannot believe how fast time is flying!
i am so excited that it is getting so close. to think that he proposed 7 and a half months ago seems crazy to me, but very exciting!
so as we move the craziness of school and life and work and wedding plans, the countdown continues...100 days and counting! wedding plans have been overwhelming and school has definately kept us busy. we are both ready for spring break! :D being able to look at our countdowns on our computers and see that we are in the last 100 days before our BIG DAY is really encouraging and just makes me SMILE! :D

ready to be married
so, to take a moment to vent...I'M SO READY TO BE MARRIED.
*breath*
ok, thanks. things have just been stressful lately. i know getting married will by no means solve all of my problems, but not being married seems to be adding to them. i'm just tired of waiting. not to mention, the girls in my dorm tend to be loud in the middle of the night, sometimes the dryer doesn't dry my clothes, and i swear my dorm room is getting smaller.
i love being engaged, but there are moments (usually all of the time, now) when i'm just ready to move on to the next chapter in my life. i don't want to wish my life away, and i love the girls in my dorm and the staff that i live and work with. however, i'm just ready for the next thing.
that's all for now...
however, on a happier note,
only 24 days until spring break/ MY BRIDAL SHOWER!
and only 108 days until the WEDDING!!!

what does hell feel like?
ever wonder what hell feels like? the Bible refers to a firy place where there is weeping and knashing of teeth. it sounds like a hot place where people sweat alot.
this may not be theologically sound, but i'm not sure that hell is hot and firy.
i think it is more like 16 degress plus wind chill and tons of snow on the ground.
that's what i think hell is like. simply put...MARION, INDIANA!
it is so stinking cold here. God definately has a sense of humor for taking
me out of beautiful, sunny California, and putting me down here in freezing, flat Marion, Indiana. it has been so cold, and it's only supposed to get colder! BOO!
ok, enough sulking about the weather.
today is exactly 4 MONTHS until the WEDDING! woo hoo! so exciting!
it has kind of been a rough week, so having this little mini celebration
has been nice and refreshing!
my bridesmaids ordered their dresses this week! that's a huge relief.
my mom is doing a lot such as talking to the florist, finding a cake, and
getting fabric for the bridesmaids' sashes. oh, all the little decisions.
Chris' mom is getting ready for the shower and planning the rehearsal dinner.
what in the world would i do without them?!?!?!
